Alabama holds off Wisconsin

#5 Alabama went into Camp Randle expecting a tough game, and thats what they got. The unranked Badgers gave the Crimson Tide everything they could handle. Going into halftime the score was all tied up at 13 thanks to a late touchdown pass from Star Jackson to Julio Jones.

Alabama took a 20-13 in the second half, but Wisconsin capitalized on a fumble by Mark Ingram which was returned 73 yards for a touchdown that tied up the game yet again. Alabama then put together a nice drive capped off by a 3 yard td run by Ingram. They later added a Leigh Tiffin field goal to make it 30-20. Wisconsin answered with 1 of 2 70 plus yard passes on the day for a score.

The final score was 30-27. Star Jackson was once again the star of the game when he connected on 21 of 30 passes for 318 yards and 2 TD's. One of those touchdowns was to Marquis Maze who had a career day with 9 receptions for 147 yards and the aforementioned touchdown. Alabama takes on rival Oklahoma in their next game.
